SICKENING LOSS

I have very little to say about this game. The Mets won based on a throwing error by Pedro Feliz, which is as likely as happening as a leprechaun walking in my room wearing a sailor suit.

Tough loss, man, but if it makes you feel any better (I know it won’t, just saying) it makes me sick that Santana can’t get anymore run support than he does. You and I both know that Santana and Park should not have been a pitching duel.

Other than Johan’s performance I’m not too thrilled about anything I saw.

At least you guys are in 1st place. Maybe that will help out a bit. 😀

  3. Being in first does help a bit. The thing is I totally expected to lose tonight. But the way we lost is just reallllly fucking painful.

Yeah, it was almost as bad as a walk-off walk.

    😦

  5. It always sucks to lose to the Mets, but the fact is, Chan Ho Park pitched well, and the Marlins lost, too. We gave up nothing in terms of place in the NL East. The Mets are creeping up, but a win today will give us a little buffer. Hell, if the team in 1st loses, as long as the team in 2nd loses it don’t matter that much.

And ritz, I know how you feel. So many of the gems that Hamels threw last year were wasted by piss-poor run support.
