PHILS WALK AWAY WITH THE WIN

The Phils walked away with the win. Did you see what i did there? Lame jokes aside, the Phils won a great game against the Mets yesterday 6-5 and move to 12-10 on the season. The game was pretty up and down the whole time with Moyer pitching really well until the 6th when he gave up back to back home runs to Daniel Murphy and Ramon Castro. Eyre came in to relieve Moyer and gave up yet another run giving the Mets a 5-4 lead. But immediately after Raul came up big and tied the game with a solo shot off lefty specialist Pedro Feliciano. Skip a few innings and some intense moments and it leads to Shane Victorino being walked with the bases loaded by Sean Green to end the game in the bottom of the 10th. Very anticlimactic but a win nonetheless and a win against the Mutts.

Don’t forget the Charlie Manuel Bobblehead Caption Contest is underway here

  1. Someone needs to tell Alex Cora that the vagina is a self-cleaning oven.

  2. Love the Murphail. Haha.

Love listening to the Franske call. Not a dramatic way to end a game, but it is a win, and it was a good game.
