PHILS-REDS PREVIEW: GAME 1

VS.
KYLE KENDRICK (10-4, 3.87ERA IN 07) VS. JOSH FOGG (10-9, 4.94 ERA IN 07)

The Phils travel to Cincy today, feeling good I’m sure, to take on the Reds at Great American Ballpark at 7:10 p.m. ET. Righty Kyle Kendrick will take on righty Josh Fogg, the assclown you might remember who pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief against us in game 2 of the NLDS. It took Fogg, I believe, well into spring training to even find a team so obviously he can’t be that good. This will be Kendrick’s forst outing after the terrible spring so here’s hoping he hit that “switch” everyone was talking about. In Kendrick’s one game against the Reds last year he went 6 IP giving up 4 ER for his second win. Geoff Jenkins is 17-for-31 against Fogg in his career with 4 long balls and 9 RBI and Jimmy Rollins is 5-for-12 lifetime against him. So I definitely expect a win today, like I always do really. I might even blog the game live, I don’t know that is uncharted territory for me but maybe I’ll give it a whirl.

Should be a good matchup with the Phils taking it. Fogg is nothing special and the Phils bats are alive now. Kendrick will surprise with a solid game.

Also that assclown picture is the funniest thing I have seen in awhile.
